ABOUT: Below is a collection some of the films I made between when I was a teenager and when I graduated from college. There are many more, but these seemed like a nice little ensemble.
The Stone Cutters
I made this film while I was traveling through Madurai, India. I had accidentally fallen asleep in a small concrete building under construction and was awaken by a stone mason who had a shop across the street. I asked him if he'd be open to being in a short film and he agreed, so me and his friends made this short film.
The G Word Fundraiser Opening Video
This video was made to open a live performance for a fundraiser for Darfur in 2008.
HVAR Experimental Film
Filmed in Hvar, Croatia, this experimental film was made by my brother and me for an experimental film showcase at a performance space in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
Amazon.com Spec Ad
This ad was made for an Amazon.com video contest when I was 18 I think.
Das Meer Experimental Film
I don't recall why we made this film. I think I was 16.
"Elevator" USC Short FIlm
This short film was made as part of a University of Southern California summer filmmaking workshop I attending during the summer before my senior year of high school. I believe it was later used by a USC professor as an example of a simple story.
Prom Tickets Promo
I was my high school's publicist for a year and made several videos to promote school events. This one was my favorite. I made this promo to promote the sale of prom tickets. I recall a ranger trying to shut the filming down but saw that we were students and let us continue. It was made before I realized youd needed to get permission to film in most places.
